TELECOM OPERATOR
Job Description:

TELECOMMUNICATIONS OPERATOR
This is a 2nd shift position(3:00pm - 11:30 pm)

The Operator, will handle internal and external calls to the institution and provides the needed information/service or routes the caller to the appropriate location. The Operator responds to user complaints to resolve problems associated with the institution's telecommunication systems. The Operator diagnose problem source through discussions with users and coordinates internal telecommunication support to resolve problems. Basic PC skills & ability to handle emergency & emotionally charged callers required. Excellent diction & strong customer focus.

Requirements:
Minimum of one year work related experience operating PBX telephone system attendant consoles or other help desk related position. Required to have excellent verbal communications skills, basic analytical ability and computer knowledge and customer service skills required. Bilingual helpful.

Please Note: The Operator will work at both Rush University Medical Center and Rush Oak Park.
