The Ettain Group has a need for a Sr. QA resource with ecperience in testing Investment applications. Candiates please apply if you are able to be submitted on a W2 Status only!

Works with project teams to ensure overall software quality is monitored and maintained and/or validates system

General:
Provide support and guidance in the creation of standard test plans, test scripts and test cases.
Analyzes, designs, documents new or modified QA procedures and standards.
Assists in the development and implementation of QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered applications and information systems.
Provide resolution to an assortment of problems complex in scope, related to Quality Assurance projects.
Typically requires 5-7 years of experience with focus on banking and corporate investments.

Skill sets:
Strong SQL skills required, to create and execute queries against Oracle/ SQL server databases.
Should be able to validate data across different envs and also run comparison reports to identify data issues.
Business acumen in Swaps, Hedging and Debt technologies, should have worked in projects within corporate investments specifically in debt/hedge technologies. Should understand the CF/FV swap and hedging concepts.
Should have some knowledge of valuation models and be able to run excel macros/prototypes for different scenarios.
Should have worked with Agile-Iterative methodology and also should understand the process thoroughly.
Should be able to lead, and manage test effort in a fast paced release environment. Should also be able to coordinate and drive the offshore and onshore interaction.
Should be able to maintain test plans and scripts and keep them updated during the release cycle.
Excellent communication and written skills.
Should be a team player, and be able to work with different teams.
