Responsibilities: Independently oversee all day to day financial analysis aspects for a multi-channel, global footwear company, 3-4 month position is now available. Duties and requirements include:

Planning/Forecasting:

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate development of monthly forecasts for domestic, international and consolidated operations
  • Create the annual operating and overhead budget
  • Drive the annual long range planning process, with a 5 year outlook

Reporting:

  • Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to include:
    • Board of Director’s presentations
    • Monthly operating reviews
    • Monthly selling reports
    • Weekly operating summary

Accounting:

  • Analyze financial statements in conjunction with month end close, forecasts and budgets
  • Responsible for monthly sales related accruals; assist with audit as needed
  • Liaison between finance and accounting to ensure coordination between planning and month end close processes
  • Identify, analyze and implement cost saving initiatives/opportunities
  • Various analyses as requested by the department heads or senior management

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in Business, Finance or Accounting, MBA a plus; 5+ years of financial planning and analysis
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
  • Working knowledge of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement
  • High comfort level with executive level professionals
  • Creative problem solver that can identify sources of information from disparate sources and deliver comprehensive, balanced and actionable analysis
