
Responsibilities/Description: The Inside Sales Analyst is responsible to assist in measuring and satisfying; regional objectives, responsiveness goals (quotes and order cycle time), Bookings objectives, KRI’S and pricing responsibility to meet the margin objectives of the Product Unit. Responsible for preparing quotations/ proposals and entering orders for replacement parts/repair/rebuild orders direct from customer or representative. Responsible for coordinating post order details between Manufacturing, SCM, Accounting, Engineering, Field Sales, Repair Operations, Marketing, and the customer to ensure on time shipment of orders. Participate in the region's strategic planning process.
Qualifications: Required - Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Business
- 2+ years experience in parts operations, customer service or equivalent field.
Job Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications: - Prepare formal bids and proposals, using the existing computer system and/or available tools to prepare/enter quotes and orders.
- On complex orders negotiate, letters of credit, non-typical payment terms, third party inspections, special documentation requirements.
- Initiate engineering jobs for review, update of Bill of Materials, as well as customer clarification requests as necessary.
- On all quotes/orders under the incumbent’s control, he/she will be responsible for; review, verification, pricing, delivery, margins, entry, requisitioning, delivery alternatives, coordination, expediting, priority fee review, returned material, credits, assist in c/c as necessary, and customer complaints.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing to establish new drawings, drawing revisions, and the use of alternate materials to resolve delivery and scheduling problems.
- Establish lead times by use of current manufacturing department data, direct negotiations with planners, buyers and manufacturing personnel.
- Utilizing available resources, provide delivery alternatives when necessary for purchased and manufactured items.
- Process requisitions through to the various internal and external supply areas.
- Apply premium charges per current D-R published standards and direct negotiations with customers and suppliers.
