Essential Job Duties: The successful applicant will carry out work supporting cooperative activities of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Center for Integrated Pest Management. The applicant's main responsibility will be providing technical assistance for a project that will result in a large, scientific report. The project will evaluate the likelihood of exotic species introduction into and within Micronesia. Specifically, duties will include: preparing data sets; statistical analysis; literature searches; scientific writing; reviewing and editing drafts; formatting text, tables and figures; ensuring consistency of formatting and terminology; reference management. Individual will be required to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Other Work/Responsibilities: Additional duties as assigned. Necessary Licenses or Certifications: Valid Driver's License. A valid NC Driver's License is required within 60 days of hire.
