TITLE: Senior Developer /Analyst – AS/400 iSeries

REQUIRED SKILLS: 10+ Years Experience

DURATION: Perm

Looking for a candidate that can lead the effort to revitalize our legacy Sales and Distribution application by designing the database schema, developing new Graphical User Interfaces, and optimizing core processes.

Requirements:

• Seasoned professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong ability to analyze and document relational databases and system processes

• Translate Functional Requirements documents into detailed Technical Specifications while ensuring compliance with technical standards, develop and/or revise programs per specifications, perform Unit Testing.

• Manage the Design, Build, and Unit Test phases of formal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to meet target delivery dates.

Technical Skills:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience

• 10+ years in systems design and implementation experience

• 7+ years in ILE RPG-4 programming experience on AS400/iSeries platform

• 4+ years in developing GUI Interfaces to iSeries applications in .Net and/or WebSphere

• Solid proficiency in SQL, Embedded SQL, Stored Procedures, Query, CL, AS400 operations
