POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Standard Hours: 8-hour day shifts, 9:00 - 5:30pm

Is responsible for, and performs those duties consistent with the recognized scope of practice for Licensed Vocational Nursing. Assists clinic Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses in the care of patients in a family practice and urgent care environment. Provides for the direct supervision of nursing care given by unlicensed nursing and Medical assistants in the absence of a RN. May be assigned as the only licensed nursing staff member during a work shift. Performs additional administrative tasks related to patient medical record maintenance and continuity of care typical of a family practice clinic. Performs other tasks as assigned.
