Thomson Reuters Professional Information, Infrastructure and Research Services (Prof II&RS) is an exciting and dynamic organization that provides system support, enhancements and consultation for the selection and implementation of Thomson Reuters business systems. It designs and develops Thomson Reuters business systems that support business operations such as ordering, pricing, shipping, billing, finance, commissions, manufacturing, distribution, sales, marketing, and customer operations.
We are looking for a talented Sr Salesforce.com Technical Developer to join the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Technology group within Thomson Reuters Prof II&RS. This position will be primarily responsible for technical development and support of Salesforce.com applications across the Thomson Reuters organization. The role will serve as the local SalesForce.com configuration and customization technical expert within the CRM Technology group. Responsibilities include Salesforce.com application configuration, customized development and extension, issue identification and resolution and writing reports (extending native SFDC reports). This position participates in all phases of the application development cycle of the SalesForce.com application, and partners with other areas of the Prof II&RS Technology organization to manage integration, database and/or back office related aspects of the application implementation.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall design and layout of the Salesforce.com application
- Salesforce.com application configuration and customized development and extension, generally and with emphasis on order entry/automation
- Evaluate data entry, import processes and ensure proper data quality standards exist for the Salesforce.com application
- Work with functional leads to transform new requirements into design, implementation
- Extend native SFDC reports to leverage custom fields to create meaningful reports, dashboards
- Providing ongoing support for the Salesforce.com application
- Responsible for Salesforce.com unit and systems testing for new enhancements, system integration
- Effectively work with management and other remote development staff to accomplish Salesforce.com project deliverables
- Ensure Salesforce.com SDLC process and application performance maturation
- Effectively balance and prioritize multiple projects concurrently
- 5-7 years experience (post-degree work experience)
- 2-4 years experience with the Salesforce.com CRM solution
- 2-4 years experience with Apex, Java and Eclipse
- 2-4 years experience with SDLC (i.e. requirements definition through testing/implementation)
- 2 years experience developing and supporting front office systems (Sales, Marketing, Call Center)
- Advanced knowledge of SOAP, XML and workflow
- Advanced knowledge of data management, SQL and RDMS technologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work in team environment with varying skill set levels
- Working knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, Siebel OnPremise, EIM, CTI and Remote (all preferred)
- Bachelor's degree required in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
