Overview:
Fairbanks Memorial Hospital/Denali Center is a tobacco free workplace.

Fairbanks Memorial Hospital/Denali Center (FMH/DC), a non-profit facility, is owned by the Greater Fairbanks Community Hospital Foundation and managed by Banner Health. For more than 30 years, the community has been the backbone of FMH/DC. From the initial investment - equivalent to $100 for every man, woman and child living in Fairbanks - to its continued support over the years, the community has enabled FMH/DC to constantly expand and enhance its technologies and services.

As the primary referral center for residents of Alaska's Interior, FMH/DC strives to promote health throughout the region and reaches out to serve in any way we can. From maternity to cancer treatment, patients can count on the medical help they need.

At the heart of FMH/DC is our highly skilled and compassionate staff. We recruit and retain a team of talented professionals dedicated to serving our community. At FMH/DC, we're keeping our promise to provide patients with the best health care, an expert staff, and the latest technology - while always remembering the importance of a kind word and a caring spirit. After all, our patients are also our neighbors and friends.

FMH/DC is a JCAHO-accredited facility with 162 licensed beds and, on average, a 1-3 nurse-to-patient ratio. FMH/DC is nationally recognized and considered one of the finest hospitals in the U.S. for a community of its size. Founded on a philosophy and passion for meeting community needs, we strive to provide the best possible care to everyone we serve.
