RF Site Engineer
We have an amazing opportunity to work for a WiMax service provider that is currently recruiting for a RF Site engineer to work in the field and change the way business and consumers receive their internet. The RF Site Engineer will provide expertise in on-site installation, support, & maintenance of the RF/WiMax infrastructure to include antennas, radios, routers, power supplies & associated cabling.
The RF Site Engineer will plan & manage various aspects of new site acquisitions, site build-out & will consult with building engineers regarding new or ongoing projects. Additionally, the selected candidate will be able to exercise sound technical judgment & discipline in the execution of systems changes & deployment plans. If chosen for the prestigious role, you will be responsible maintaining wireless broadband equipment - primarily on building rooftops & in commercial building access points.

Responsibilities:
- Plan & lead wireless network projects, including new builds, trouble-shooting, capacity planning & infrastructure upgrades
- Maintenance & support of Wireless Backbone infrastructure
- Maintain & update FCC licenses for new & existing builds
- Respond to customer installation requests & trouble tickets
- Maintains a high level of professional expertise in Wireless Technologies
- Provide support for other departments as needed
- Excellent written & communication skills
Qualifications:
- College degree in a technical discipline preferred
- 5+ years relevant technical experience in wireless networks
- Previous experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Point-to-Point RF Networking (PTP) Equipment for the network backbone & Data Center connections, and Point-to-MultiPoint (P2MP) WiMAX Equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of cabling, networking & routing
- Working knowledge of RF industry standards
- Working knowledge of various wireless vendor equipment
- Some limited travel may be required
- Ability to be on-call and/or work off-hours
- Cisco Network Certification (CCNA, CCNP) preferred
