National Retail Channel Account Manager

We are a designer and manufacturer of luxury lighting fixtures. We are looking for a sales leader with high-end furniture and fixtures experience to oversee all aspects of our North American retail channel network. The main job objective is to achieve maximum profitability and growth by attaining contracts with high-end lighting retail stores and showrooms. Scope of job expectations are developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies in coordination with top management, using creativity to sell our products, maintaining and expanding client relationships, and building brand recognition in the industry. This position reports directly to the CEO, and can be based anywhere in the country. Travel is expected to be 25 - 50% of the time.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Achieve high sales volumes in conjunction with corporate goals to obtain maximum profitability

· Demonstrate a strong understanding of client and market dynamics and requirements

· Build direct relationships with retail distribution points and other contract clients

· Travel to maximize sales

· Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed

· Coordinate with President in developing new markets

· Work with Company President to set quarterly sales goals based on operational costs, market potential and sales history

· Generate solutions and quotes

Requirements:

· 5+ years experience in working on a national level with major retail chains or with furniture/ fixture/ lighting showrooms across substantial territories

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint

· Strong track record in prospecting and selling to national retail sales

· Have knowledge of trade shows and major retail contacts
