August, 2006 to December, 2006 Teaching and Student Teaching After receiving my Teaching Certification in English and Allied Arts, I was able to teach students grades 10-12 in a diverse classroom. I edited portfolio pieces, taught technology-rich classes, and operated a computer Whiteboard system, projector, computer, and stylusboard. My students made their own PowerPoint presentations, posted to a class blog site, wrote original poetry, acted in original student-made plays, and constructed 3-D dioramas, web pages, and group projects. I was also able to team-teach in a Special Education-only class.
